Whistler market remains steady.
Whistler's real estate market is showing signs of balance as summer progresses. Looking at total sales volume year-to-date in Whistler, the volume of sales is very much in line with last year. Whistler's sales volume from January to July this year was $433,407,173. This marks a 1.5% decrease from the same period last year. A sign that the market remains steady, balanced, and in a state of little change.
Although the market is not flooded with inventory (as it is generally limited in Whistler), buyers have a good amount of choice. Sellers need realistic pricing and strong presentation to stand out in today's market. Sellers should prepare their properties as thoroughly as possible prior to listing. Coming into fall we tend to see a lot more buyers starting to be more active in preparation for winter.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer sun by the lakeshores of Whistler (watch out for signs of swimmer's itch).
